Well a Happy New Year to all our members and I wish you every success for 2016

I had been watching the weather reports since Wednesday and as time moved towards Sunday I was pretty sure that I would be getting a soaking. Thank goodness the rain stayed off for our mornings entertainment. No sooner than riders finished and signs collected in the rain came down. What good timing eh!

Sadly the elation of missing the weather was dampened with the lack of members attending the AGM. There where no apologies of absence and we where advised that members were out riding and doing "other" things. Only 13 members out of 60+

I think it's time to get a grip of your membership, a club survives owing to it's membership participating in "Club" events. The AGM is an opportunity for you to bring idea's, it a platform to encourage, motivate, and get involved and even thank the various committees that make the club. I am pretty sure that whist riding there is much talking and moaning goes on so why not voice up in the appropriate place. I really do not understand why you don't attend.

For the people who attended there was clear disappointment, but issues where talked about which will be published in the minutes of the meeting.

Here's hoping you support events this year but belive me I won't hold my breath!
